This is Tajia Lund, the face behind Denver Pet Pics, "home of Denver's finest pet photography. I chose her (for spotlight no. 1 at least) because I interned with her last fall and she helped me out a lot. She is from Denver, studied at the Art Institute, and coincidentally was a student of Brad.
Since she is a studio photographer, it is obvious where she shoots. You can see on her website and Instagram (sited below) that she does what she calls "mini sessions" which are fun set ups for your pet to take part in! Some are even seasonal, such as Halloween being a witches' cauldron and broomstick. (She decorates her home for the seasons as well, fun fact.)
I recall her inspiration being to help people have nice photos of their pets. Even her own dog, Ricky, has become an experienced model! She likes animals, so you know she is a good person.
Last fall, I wanted to do more studio pet photography. And even though my perceptions have changed, she is still a fantastic photographer to me and a great inspiration.
(P.S. in some photos you can see two soft boxes. Sorry, Mike.)
